CNSL-HAM is a specialized product to be used in CNSL based paints. Addition of water in primers and enamels is essential at times to adjust the final viscosity in the paint. But it is observed during survey conducted that performance of such additives on addition was not satisfactory. CNSL-HAM has been specially designed to overcome performance problems of finished goods.

Due to the addition of water and other additives in adjusting the viscosity of the final product, it has been observed that under some circumstances, the gloss, drying time and coverage of the paint is affected. S-HAM has been specifically formulated to tackle this problem.

ABA – Anti Bubbling or Anti Blistering Agent is a formulation created specifically to arrest the bubbles or blisters that may arise if painting is done on a surface which is continuously exposed to a very high temperature i.e under the sun.
Water which is added to adjust the final viscosity gets trapped on the surface specially if the enamel is a fast drying one. This trapped water then comes out on the surface as a blister or a bubble thus causing an ugly blemish on the surface.
When ABA is added , it increases the open time for drying of the paints and helps prevent the blisters.

Due to water addition in enamel paints for viscosity adjustment it has been observed that after a couple of months in storage, the final viscosity of certain enamel paints drops. Addition of 1-2% of S-Green in the finished product helps in maintaining the final viscosity irrespective of the % of water content.
